  • Triune God - The Trinity; God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit



    • For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things; to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

  • Manifestation - A revelation; a display

      • previously existing materials? Are their paintings, songs, and projects totally unrelated to any previously existing materials, objects, or ideas? Can a person create anything from nothing?

    When man "creates," his creative ability is limited; he forms new ideas or projects from previous thoughts, words, shapes, colors, and materials. When God creates, however, His creative ability is unlimited. He created the entire universe and everything in it from nothing. Only an almighty God can do this; only He can speak and it will be done, command and it will stand firm. Only His Word is all-powerful.

    Scripture teaches that creation is the work of a Triune God. The following chart reveals that God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all took part in God's creating work.

    God the Father

    But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him.

    - I Corinthians 8:6a

    Lord, Thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is.

    God the Son

    In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

    All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

    - John 1:1,3

    God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.

    - Ephesians 3:9b

    God the Holy Spirit

    And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

    - Genesis 1:2

    Thou sendest forth Thy Spirit, they are created: and Thou renewest the face of the earth.

    - Psalm 104:30

    God created all things to reveal His glory. God's creative work could not increase His excellence which is infinitely perfect, but it was an outward manifestation of the majesty of His Being.

    Our happiness and welfare are connected to this truth. As human beings, we were created to know, love, and serve God. True
