2. Sovereignty (Will)
a. Goodness (Love, Grace, Mercy, and Longsuffering)
b. Righteousness or Justice
c. Holiness
3. Power (Omnipotence)
Some trace of these qualities can be found in man, but not at all in the same degree, glory, or perfection. There is only a faint trace of these characteristics in man. For this reason, these perfections of God are termed God's communicable attributes.
Carefully study the chart on the following pages which clearly summarizes God's attributes. When studying, however, keep in mind that God is all His attributes at all times. Together, they shine with one brilliant, radiant light - full of beauty and perfection. God's knowledge, will, and power are all infinitely wise, loving, righteous, and holy.
Do you know, love, and worship this glorious and almighty God? Do you worship Him with deep reverence? There is no greater joy or deeper satisfaction to be found than honoring, glorifying, and serving this wonderful God. By nature, we do not know or love the Lord, but through God's regenerating grace, this is possible. If we love God in truth, then we love to walk in ways which are pleasing in His sight.
